finally, i’ve met wes borland and trust me, seeing him perform live on stage is definately sumthin extraordinary and its really fucking rare to see someone with so much talent strutting, picking, and strumming away his custom made guitar(CV820 WB).wes is someone that i’ve always admire since i was a child and when i first heard of him at the age of 13 thru Limp Bizkit, i never stopped listening to his stuff since then.damn…and now i’ve finally met him in person.he’s a very down to earth kinda guy too…lol…he even gave me a HIGH FIVE after i shook hand with him.  = )
 

it truly was a night to be remembered for the rest of my life.
oh…and about the Asian Beat Grand Finals competition.i really liked some of the contestant bands especially the band from indonesia, i gotta give props to these guys for their talent and stage presence.they were tight! and not to forget the band Ocean of Fire that hails from Penang, Malaysia! the only instrumental band in the comp that plays a mixture of rock, jazz, blues and funk.though they were not crowned champions but Kelvyn and Jonathan won the best guitarist and bassist awards. thats definately sumthin to cheer for…and guys, watch out for this upcoming band.they’re gonna funk their way to the top…   = )

as for the guest performers, well…Wes’ performance was my favourite of course.he did his stuff with his custom made CV820 WB guitar and it was sick as hell.he used a violin bow on his guitar as well.sounds amazing!
when wes was up on stage it connected very well with the crowd…some guys behind me were shouting LIMP BIZKIT..! LIMP BIZKIT..! god damn, he’s not in Limp Bizkit anymore.he has a new band and its called BLACK LIGHT BURNS.lol…
and wes didn’t look very happy when Serena C and Andy kept mentioning that he’s from the band Limp Bizkit.lol.
Kozo Suganuma did great on the electronic drums too.
and there was one guest performer that i really didnt like much…i can’t remember the name of the band but i think its called Hybrid or sumthin.damn..they sounded really awkward on stage.definately not sound system problem.no offence…   = p
pop shuvit’s performance is loud and good as usual.but they did much better when i last saw them at rock the world 7.oh ya…i met JD, AJ and DJ Uno while taking the escalator.lol…they’re a bunch of nice guys!lol…

all in all…it was a nite to be remembered…and for those of u who don’t know who wes borland is.i’d say..u go get the new Black Light Burns CD called Cruel Melody this coming June and u’ll know who he is.goodnite.

too bad we missed Damn Dirty Apes…

i was at the beach last nite with a couple of friends having some drinks. we were just sitting around the campfire and talking about the good old times,then we ran out of drinks so all my friends went over to 7-eleven to get a few more punch and i was left alone at the beach to keep the fire burning till they get back.nobody was around the whole stretch of beach when i looked around.

i walked over to the shore with my ipod with "Close Encounters" on repeat. as i got closer to the breaker, i noticed a dimmed glowing flurorescent light in the corners of my eyes…i didn’t really think anything of it because all of my attention was down at tucking my ipod in my pocket as i continued walking closer to the shore.actually, i thought it was from staring the bright white glare my ipod gave off, kind of like when u stare at the sun and u get those spots where ever u look.after tucking in my ipod and making it to the very point where the water met the sand and touched my feet, i had my eyes closed for a while…

"Close Encounters" starts again, and i can hear the sound of the waves crashing through my headphones.i open my eyes and focused my attention out towwards the water. the first wave comes while i am standing close and breaks with a miraculous explosion of bright white lucent lights in the sea water. i cannot believe my eyes at this point so i wait for the next wave. there it is again! then i thought to myself…"It’s the glowing plankton!!". i’ve heard about the glowing plankton and never had a chance to see it until tonite. it was more amazing than i could ever imagine…

so there i stood still and motionless with "Close Encounters" on repeat, mesmerized while the sea danced luminously, all for me…….

IT WAS THE BEST!!!

gee…when was the last time i blogged? havent been blogging for a long time as far as i know… probably too busy wit things around me?lazy?i dunno…  = )

anyway, i’m more into customizing my frenster profile lately… its a great thing to do as u can find a way to express yourself through the design.i mean not express…its more like giving an expression to other people who comes across your profile.sumthin like that i guess…but i like it.its nice…
at least it gives me sumthin to do…but still it gets bored sumtimes.i used to customize my blog..but not anymore

camping! = )  went with a few frens to overnite at pantai kerachut last thursday.it was a nice camp…shooting stars are awesome!i didnt know they’re so nice until i saw a big sparkling one the other nite.its jus nice to get a glimpse…

move on to other things…
i got a surprised call 2 days ago from my best fren,kevin sjostrom.he used to go by the name kevin kumar…
i still remember him as my best fren during high skool.he moved to sweden when we were 15 and we only met once ever since.but guess wat,he’s in penang now and i’ll be seeing him again on wednesday.its a long time coming…

yeah!i’m back from my holidays in langkawi 2 days ago…i was too tired to get back to the blog so i’ve only decided to write sumthin about it today.a lot of things to talk about my holidays.heee…
well i spent 3 days 2 nites over at langkawi.before i was there, i only knew this fren of mine,aileen.she was the one who asked me to go with them for holiday and heck i’m glad i went.met a lot of new frens and it was nice knowing all of them…
funny and nice would best describe them   = )
uhh…i dun even know how to start writing.just way too much to talk about…
when we reached the jetty,we head straight to the motel.and on the way,the van we rent went empty and it was pretty funny.but we managed to get over the situation and moved on.the motel,it wasnt really that bad.big,cozy and has a nice bathroom.heee…after resting,we headed to a beach,i cant remember wats that place called but it has really soft white sands.its nice!played in the sea and went for a jet ski ride with aileen.fun!
the scenary of langkawi is jus beautiful.lots of small islands surrounding it and the hills and all…its really like a country side view from wat i see.at nite we went to this pub…SPE(SomePlaceElse)?i think thats the name of the pub.theres a good band that plays cover songs.they’re good.had some beers and just…enjoy the nite out…
BIG fun begins on the second day.thats when we all went to Pulau Payar.damn beautiful island and beach!aargh…miss the view of it.clear sea water…..we’re lucky it didnt rained that day.its about 40 minutes away from the main island.we went there by boat and it was bumpy ride all the way there.when we reached we can see all sorts of fishes swimming all over,theres sharks too.but small ones…then soon after that we dive in and went snorkelling.didnt took any photos while snorkelling.too bad…cos it was way too fun being in the water with the fishes…not forgetting!we all got bitten by this small colorful looking innocent kinda fish.dang!cant believe that…it hurts but not that bad.oh ya,i still remembered i saved aileen from the fish and from the sea!ahahah…u owe me one girl!  = )  always say i’m bad…hee…looks like i’m not that bad after all huh?   = p 
after all the fun we had snorkelling,we went to another island to hav lunch.ahhh….freezing cold beers and satays!!!
next destination,pulau dayang bunting.yea yea..i know they made fun of me with that island.haha..but at least i owned it…heeee….*evil smile*
that island is full of monkeys!but deep inside theres a nice lake and all of us jumped into the water for a swim.that was the last place we visited in the Pulau Payar trip.it was worth going…
another nice part was the cable car ride up the hill.nice view and the air above is cold…
i jus cant write anymore cos it might bore some of u to death with my words…
